Picking myself up

It's been a terrible month. Total disbelief, numbness and pain at losing Steve.
However, Steve made me promise to him that I'd be strong and carry on. I cannot tell you how hard this is.

Mdogsgs are what are getting me up in the morning and keeping me going.started
rated back training Pixel about 3 weeks ago and also went to a show. I didn't want to. My heart wasn't in it, but I made the effort. Pixel must have sensed that I felt down and worked so well. Lots of mistakes and eliminations in all classes but I could start to almost see the potential in her myself.

Then yesterday I went on a training day with Sian, OMG...she was wonderful. I have uploaded her bits from the shows and also her last sequence at the training day :-)

Last Friday 16th June , my darling Steve passed away. 6 months from diagnosis of Cancer.

Although we knew this day would come it was still devastating.
His funeral is on Tuesday 4th July at Hanworth Crematorium at 11.20 .

Once this is over I will start to re build my life without Steve, hard that this will be.

I intend to start back training Pixel again at her classes ,and I will re start teaching at my field. I won't however be doing classes any more, just one to ones for both Agility and Obedience.

R.I P Steve..I will love you forever

Sad News

I just thought I'd put a brief post on here for people that follow my blog and like to see Pixel updates.

At the beginning of December my hubby Steve had to have his thyroid removed as he had a tumour on it.
2 days before Xmas we were given the devastating news that he has terminal cancer  and its in many organs in his body, The prognosis is very poor and they've said he may only have weeks at worse and months at best to live.
I am in total shock, bereft and struggling to come to terms with it.

I have stopped all training ,both with Pixel and in the short term my classes too. Sadly my mind is just not on it, and obviously I want to concentrate on having time with Steve.

He is undergoing Radiotherapy , and Chemo is starting in 2 weeks if we decide to go down that route.

At some time I will be back, so take a peek at my blog from time to time to check.
